Margriet joined Hextal in 1997 as a junior site engineer on the Eemshaven coastal defence project. Over 28 years she has held leadership positions in marine engineering, the Benelux division, and the group sustainability programme before being appointed CEO in 2021. Under her leadership, Hextal has grown its order book by 42% and set validated SBTi net-zero targets.
